HireTessa provides an AI intake assistant (“Tessa”) that answers calls and website chats for law firms and schedules consultations. This policy explains what we collect and how we use it.
Information we collect
- From visitors to this site: information you submit when requesting a demo (name, firm, email, phone) and basic analytics (pages visited, device type).
- From callers and chat users of our law-firm clients: when a firm uses Tessa, we process call recordings, transcripts, chat messages, and the contact and matter details callers choose to share. Every call begins with a disclosure that Tessa is an AI assistant and that the conversation is recorded. This information is processed on behalf of the law firm you contacted — that firm is the owner of your intake information.
How we use it
- To provide the service: answering, scheduling, and delivering transcripts, recordings, and outcomes to the law firm you contacted.
- To operate and improve HireTessa’s quality and safety.
- We do not sell personal information. We do not use client conversations to train third-party foundation models.
Sharing
We share information only with the law firm the conversation belongs to and with the service providers required to operate the product (telephony, hosting, and AI processing vendors), under contractual confidentiality obligations.
Retention and security
Recordings and transcripts are retained per our agreement with each law firm and deleted on request. Data is encrypted in transit and at rest.
Your choices
To access or delete information from a conversation with a law firm, contact that firm directly — it controls its intake records. For anything else, contact us at the address below.
