The service

HireTessa provides an AI intake assistant that answers calls and website chats for subscribing law firms, gathers intake details, and schedules consultations. Tessa is an AI assistant and is disclosed as one on every conversation. Tessa never provides legal advice and never takes payments.

For law-firm subscribers

  • Plans bill monthly in advance; cancel anytime effective at the end of the billing period. Voice conversations beyond your plan’s included amount bill at the published flat per-conversation rate — service is never suspended for overage.
  • You are responsible for the accuracy of the firm information Tessa is configured with, and for compliance with the rules of professional conduct and call-recording consent laws applicable in your jurisdiction.
  • Transcripts, recordings, and intake records for your callers belong to your firm.

Acceptable use

No unlawful use, no attempts to make Tessa provide legal advice or process payments, no resale of the service without written agreement.

Fair use

“Unlimited” website chat means unlimited conversations from your firm’s actual prospective clients. We reserve the right to identify and address usage that is automated, abusive, or clearly inconsistent with a law firm’s normal client-contact volume — through rate limiting or, in sustained cases, a conversation about a custom plan. This has never applied to a real firm’s real growth and won’t start with yours.

No legal advice; no attorney-client relationship

HireTessa is a software service. Nothing on this site or in any conversation with Tessa constitutes legal advice, and communicating with Tessa does not create an attorney-client relationship with HireTessa or with any law firm.

Disclaimers and liability

The service is provided “as is.” To the fullest extent permitted by law, HireTessa’s aggregate liability is limited to the fees paid in the three months preceding the claim. We are not liable for indirect or consequential damages.

Changes; governing law

We may update these terms; continued use after an update constitutes acceptance. These terms are governed by the laws of the State of North Carolina.

SMS text messaging

HireTessa (operated by Wedding Venue Crashers, Inc.) sends text messages on behalf of the law firms that use the service, only to people who contacted a firm first and agreed to receive texts. Consumers opt in during an inbound phone call or website chat, when the assistant asks whether it may text them; consent is recorded with a timestamp.

  • What you’ll receive: callback confirmations, scheduling coordination for your consultation, a brief satisfaction check-in, and — where a firm collects a consultation fee — a secure payment link. No marketing to purchased lists.
  • Message frequency varies based on your conversation with the firm.
  • Message and data rates may apply and are billed by your mobile carrier.
  • Opt out any time by replying STOP — you’ll get one confirmation that you’ve been unsubscribed. Reply HELP for help, or email hans@getgoinginbusiness.com.
  • Compatible with major U.S. carriers (AT&T, Verizon, T-Mobile, and others); carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
  • By opting in you consent to receive autodialed and manually dialed texts at the number you provide. Consent is not a condition of any purchase.

See our Privacy Policy for how mobile and SMS data is handled.
